Mike Tyson was one of the greatest boxers in history, but when it comes to a sport like skateboarding... he’s not so good. On the most recent broadcast of his podcast, ’Hotboxin’ with Mike Tyson’, he invited skateboarding legend Tony Hawk, and experienced a pretty funny and complicated scene.

During the show, Tyson got on a skateboard that Hawk lent him, and he has his set design to thank, because one of the chairs he uses for the podcast was the one that prevented him from having an accident that could have been worse.

Tyson couldn’t figure out how to get off the skateboard

On the show, Tony Hawk invited Tyson to get on a skateboard, trying to teach him how to skate and do the stunts that have made him famous. Mike, 56, jumped on the board, Hawk clapped for him and all was going well until Tyson tried to get off the board and couldn’t do it.

This led him to crash into a wooden chair and a makeshift wall, ending up being held back by the cushion of one of the chairs.Mike carried on as if nothing had happened.

This wasn’t the first time Mike Tyson got on a hoverboard and suffered an accident. In 2016, he got on a hoverboard, fell and had to be laid up for a week.

Tyson even recalled that episode with the caption he captioned his image, "Lucky that chair was there or it would have been a repeat of the hoverboard scare."
